Had a book signing yesterday in Farmington, CT at Millrace Books. Jan, the shop owner is the sweetest woman, possibly in existence. She has been running the shop for decades and it’s truly an independent shop that you love to buy your books from. The temperature outside was a balmy 90+ and the turnout was modest but nonetheless, it was great. During my presentation I did a bit of a drawing demo and there was one young chap named Rocco who repaid the favor. Having noticed that I made a comment about liking sneakers(I’ve got tons of pairs) Rocco drew my portrait. So–Many thanks to Rocco and his family. Also, to Jan at the shop. It was a great day!
