Stickfiguratively Sleepy Hollow

Working on some concept work for Stickfiguratively Speaking: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I’m thinking that all of the night scenes will be black like the bottom image, with the sticks in white. Anybody hate it?

The black background is great, but I found the white words a little hard to read, but what do I know I’m old and blind.
