I was recently commissioned by a friend to do an illustration for his wife as a gift for Christmas. The only requirement being that I incorporate the home that the couple lives in. I also asked him many questions about the history of the home and the many goings on that have occurred there over the past few hundred years. So there may be some things that need further explaining in the work–but ahh well, no time.
If you look at my links page, the friend is “Nature Geezer”. The funny thing is that “Nature Geezer’s” wife and I had a conversation a few days before Christmas and she told me that she had commissioned some art from a friend of hers as well–as a holiday gift for her husband. What a great gift;)
